The Civic Volunteer Charter & Democratic Member Rights
At RESONANCES PLURIELLES, we treat volunteers not as casual labor, but as the foundational democratic stakeholders of our public interest missions. In accordance with our Association Loi 1901 constitution, every member in good standing possesses clear statutory rights:
1. Sovereign General Assembly Voting
Every active member holds equal democratic voting power ("one member, one vote"). You directly elect our leadership board, vote on annual moral and financial audits, and debate upcoming field project allocations.
2. Absolute Reinvestment Guarantee
Annual dues are strictly nominal (symbolic 15€/year; reduced 5€ for students and jobseekers). All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.
3. Complete Ledger Access
Members maintain permanent rights to inspect bank statements, municipal grant conventions, meeting minutes, and financial voucher books upon formal written request to our Treasurer.
4. Free Pedagogical Access
Members and their immediate families enjoy free priority registration for all community instrumental discovery modules, voice circles, and zero-cost instrument loan programs.

To maintain an environment of mutual respect, transparent accountability, and pedagogical excellence, all volunteers and members subscribe to the following civic engagement commitments:
- Article 1: Democratic Inclusion: The association guarantees that every volunteer, regardless of age, origin, gender identity, socio-economic condition, or musical proficiency, is welcomed into a respectful, collaborative civic space free from discrimination.
- Article 2: Association Insurance Protection: All registered volunteers performing activities on behalf of RESONANCES PLURIELLES are fully covered by the association's statutory civil liability insurance policy (Assurance Responsabilité Civile Associative). This protection encompasses all travel, venue preparation, workshop facilitation, and concert logistics.
- Article 3: Child Protection & Safeguarding Standards: Because our volunteers frequently interact with minors during school interventions and youth workshops, all volunteers participating in educational modules must undergo an orientation session on youth safeguarding and agree to follow National Education supervision guidelines alongside certified schoolteachers.
- Article 4: Disinterested Dedication: In alignment with Association Loi 1901 legal standards, volunteer service is carried out without financial compensation. Out-of-pocket expenses incurred during official missions (e.g., approved vehicle travel between rural workshops) are reimbursed upon submission of itemized receipts according to statutory fiscal rates.
- Article 5: Mutual Mentorship & Continuous Training: The association provides regular orientation sessions, pedagogical briefings, and peer-mentoring opportunities to ensure volunteers feel confident and supported in their roles.
- Article 6: Freedom of Engagement: Volunteers remain entirely free to adjust their time commitments based on personal or professional obligations. We value consistent, reliable communication over excessive hours.
- Article 7: Respect for Non-Commercial Neutrality: Volunteers agree never to utilize the association's activities, premises, or audience gatherings for personal commercial solicitation, political campaigning, or private merchandising.
Volunteer Engagement Pathways
We welcome diverse talents, whether you are an experienced instrumentalist, an artisan craftsperson, or a community organizer passionate about local civic life.
Music Mentors & Workshop Facilitators
Assist our lead educators during elementary school interventions and adult instrumental clinics. Help beginner students tune instruments, hold bows correctly, and read basic rhythmic notation in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Luthier & Instrument Care Volunteers
Support our zero-cost acoustic instrument lending library. Help clean, restyle, re-string, and tune acoustic guitars, cellos, violins, and woodwinds between student lending cycles in our Saint-Laurent-de-la-Prée workshop.
Event Logistics & Welcome Stewards
Assist with the practical staging of free public concerts: arranging chairs in village halls, welcoming attendees, managing acoustic stage lighting, and distributing informational flyers detailing our non-profit mission.
